The Game Assigning Process
To be assigned games, officials must first have completed training with WNFC, or have a valid certification a recognized organization such as NFHS, NCAA, FIFA, or U.S. Soccer Federation.
Officials must have also completed all parts of the WNFC Officials Registration process. Click HERE to register if you have not started that process.
The assignment process is based on e-mail communication. If is very important that an officials email address is current and that they check for updates on a regular basis. Some text message communication may be used in emergency situations, so please also make sure you register with a current phone number.
- The schedule for the upcoming competition week will be posted on Monday by 12:00 (MST). Our competition weeks runs from Saturday to Friday.
- Each week the official with check the WNFC Officials Availability page for posted dates, age groups and game times. Officials will check mark which dates and times they are available to officiate. Only mark Not Available if you are not able to work on that date.
If your availability changes, please resubmit your availability through the form. The most recent posting will be used for game assignments.
- The Officials Coordinator will post the upcoming weeks assignments to the Officials Schedule page by Wednesday at 8:00 PM (MST) at the latest. Games still needing officials will show in Red.
- If you have updated your availability, please check back that you have been assigned, or if you assignments have changed.
The schedule is in no way set in stone once it is released. Due to changes with the games schedule, or other officials schedule, changes can and will be made up until game times. Please make sure to check the schedule before heading to the fields for any last minute changes.
